Great Girls is a non-profit project run by a diverse group of women in Cape Town, that aims to bridge the gap between high-school education and full-time employment for disadvantaged girls.
Oelzah has been so much more than an inspiring motivational speaker for us at Great Girls.
In fact, Oelzah up coined our Great Girls tag line: Raise and you rise. Every year since we started in 2014 she has been a feature on our annual program, sharing her story and her poetry in ways that get our girls to open up and share in turn, something they do not get to do in their everyday lives. And, every year our girls and mentors alike are absolutely captivated by Oelzah and her message, reacting in awe whilst those who have heard her speak before nod knowingly.
I am personally blessed to have met Oelzah many years ago and shared her passion of inspiring others to live their best lives and in turn my organisation, our beneficiaries and our partners have been blessed by what she brings to our lives.
